Remember when President Obama passed allowed for Bald Eagles to be killed or injured by the thousands in the high speed turbines on wind turbines?
According to the Washington Times, he had passed regulations which allowed for these companies to kill as many as 4,200 of these birds per year.
Even back then, Trump was on him about it.
In 2014 he tweeted:
Windmills are the greatest threat in the US to both bald and golden eagles. Media claims fictional ‘global warming’ is worse.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 9, 2014
And now that Trump is President, he’s taking action.
He’s signing an Executive Order to revoke Obama’s plan to curb global warming, and it’s going to tackle the law relating to those bald eagles.
This is just one of Trump’s efforts to counteract Obama’s bs legislation, and he will be taking out anything relating to climate change from the orders.
This is coming as a relief to many, including Thomas J. Donohue, who is the U.S. Chamber of Commerce President. He said that he was pleased that Trump was taking “bold steps to make regulatory relief and energy security a top priority.”
He went on to say, “These executive actions are a welcome departure from the previous administration’s strategy of making energy more expensive through costly, job-killing regulations that choked our economy.”
I guess we can all breathe a sigh of relief that Trump is determined to fix Obama’s messes.
