We miss Andrea Tantaros. She was the best part of Outnumbered on Fox News. With her incredible intellect and insight, she more than held her own with her co-hosts and guests. Her legions are shocked when she abruptly left the show earlier this year, and were left wondering why she’d departed and when she would return.
It seems as though Andrea will have to find a new network. We finally got answers as to why she’d taken such a prolonged absence: it turns out she’s suing Fox News for $50 million. The best thing about Andrea is that she doesn’t take any crap from anybody. She fights for what’s right against those in power. Apparently, for all of its surface merits, behind the scenes former Fox News CEO acted irresponsibly toward Andrea and her co-workers. We applaud Andrea for sticking up for herself and her hard-working Fox News peers.
Says Andrea in her lawsuit:
“Fox News masquerades as a defender of traditional family values, but behind the scenes, it operates like a sex-fueled, Playboy Mansion-like cult, steeped in intimidation, indecency and misogyny.”
Roger Ailes was recently ousted from his post after a number of other Fox News employees, including Gretchen Carlson and Megyn Kelly, came forth saying that Roger Ailes sexually harassed them and others. Andrea is not in this alone.
We wish Andrea all the best in this brave act. After all this mess is over and done with, we hope she returns to the airwaves so we can all benefit from hearing what she has to say. What do you think about Andrea’s bold move?
