Kris Paronto, a Benghazi hero, appeared on “Fox & Friends” this morning and shared his thoughts about Susan Rice’s scandal. She was spying on Trump and his associates for political reasons. According to some reports, she unmasked the identities of the associates that Trump worked with.
Benghazi hero Kris “Tanto” Paronto thinks President Donald Trump should “make an example” of former national security adviser Susan Rice for her alleged role in surveilling the Trump team.
Appearing on Fox and Friends on Wednesday, the former Army Ranger was asked what he thought of Rice’s denial regarding using the intelligence for political purposes.
“She has no credibility. I don’t know how people continue to believe her,” Paronto replied.
He noted that she has been caught in a lie already, based on her comments last month on PBS stating that she was unaware of the unmasking of names of Trump associates.
“I know nothing about this. I was surprised to see reports from Chairman [Devin] Nunes on that account today,” she said at the time.
On Tuesday, Rice’s story changed. When asked about the unmasking, she replied, “The notion, which some people are trying to suggest, that by asking for the identity of the American person is the same is leaking it — that’s completely false,” Rice added. “There is no equivalence between so-called unmasking and leaking.”
Paronto highlighted this is just Rice’s most recent example of lying to the public, pointing back to the prisoner swap of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl in May 2014 for five top Taliban leaders and her comments in the aftermath of the Benghazi attacks on September 11, 2012.
In 2014, while in the role of national security adviser, Rice justified the prisoner swap to the American public contending that Bergdahl served the country with “honor and distinction.”
The reports at the time were that Bergdahl deserted his post and purposely made his way to the Taliban lines.
American lives are now in danger because of Susan Rice. This is a great opportunity for Trump to make an example of a corrupt government bureaucrat.
