BOOM! Trump is Smiling Like a Child After He Saw How Tom Hanks SHOCKED Hollywood!!

Since last Tuesday, most of the searches for cheap flights on Air Canada’s website have probably come from Hollywood celebrities.

Tinseltown’s stars are one of the few demographics to posses the unique combination of a) the emotional instability to suggest that the exercise of democracy ending in their ideological hindrance was reason enough to leave our country, and b) the surfeit of resources to make such a whim feasible.

But, Tom Hanks surprised everybody with his speech delivered at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. He said that he hopes Trump “does such a great job that I vote for his re-election.”

“We are going to be all right,” Hanks told the crowd, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“America has been in worse places than we are at right now. In my own lifetime, our streets were in chaos, our generations were fighting each other tooth and nail. Every dinner table ended up being as close to a fistfight as human families are allowed. We have been in a place where we have looked at our leaders and wondered, ‘What the hell they were thinking of?’ We’ve had moments with the administrations and politicians and senators and governors in which we have asked ourselves, ‘Are they lying to us or do they really believe in this?’ That’s all right. We have this magnificent thing that is in place,” he said, referencing the Constitution.

“We are going to be all right because we constantly get to tell the world who we are. We constantly get to define ourselves as American. We do have the greatest country in the world. We move at a slow pace. We have the greatest country in the world because we are always moving towards a more perfect union. That journey never ceases, it never stops.”

After the speech, Hanks told The Hollywood Reporter, “This is the United States of America. We’ll go on. There’s great like-minded people out there who are Americans first and Republicans or Democrats second … I hope the president-elect does such a great job that I vote for his re-election in four years.”

Compare this with the reaction of another Hollywood luminary to Donald Trump’s election:

From Hanks’ remarks, I somehow doubt he cast his vote for Trump. That’s his right as an American citizen, and we celebrate that. We hope that Trump does such a great job that he — and the rest of Hollywood — have no choice but to vote for him in 2020.

However, unlike the rest of the entertainment industry, Hanks didn’t go Three Mile Island on the country because they didn’t vote his way.

What do you think of Tom Hanks’ remarks?
