CONFIRMED! MITCH McConnel SAID IT! BEFORE WEEKEND SOMETHING HUGE IS GOING TO HAPPEN! GUESS WHAT? THIS ARDUOUS SAGA IS COMING TO AN END!
Judge Neil Gorsuch will become the 9th SCOTUS JUDGE! This announcement is a SILVER BULLET straight into the HEART OF THE LIBERAL BEAST!
Senate Republicans on Thursday invoked the so-called “nuclear option” to pave the way for Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch’s confirmation.
The extreme measure was taken after a cloture vote failed and Democrats attempted to block Gorsuch’s confirmation via filibuster. Using the nuclear option meant Republicans needed just 51 votes to break the filibuster, rather than the historic threshold of 60.
Prior to the vote, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) warned Democrats not to cause the deployment of the nuclear option for the second time.
He was referring to then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s decision to use the nuclear option in 2013 to end filibusters on nominations of federal judges and some other executive branch appointments. Reid’s unprecedented move nudged the Senate down the slippery slope regarding filibuster procedure.
After the vote, McConnell took to Twitter and vowed that Gorsuch would be the 9th Supreme Court Justice before the weekend:

Given the far-reaching implications of the Senate GOP’s nuclear strike, it wasn’t surprising that people on the left side of the aisle were irate on Thursday:
Blowing up the rules for Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch is a dangerous path to go down. This is a sad day for the Senate. –PM

If you have to change the rules and lower the bar to get a SCOTUS nominee confirmed…
He probably is a “so-called” Judge.#NuclearOption

After today, in theory, Democratic voters should be as focused on Senate control specifically for SCOTUS as evangelical Republicans are.

Let history never forget: The Republican Party stole a SCOTUS seat and broke the Senate to do it. Today is a dark day for the minority

in 2018 Democrats have 23 seats up for election in the Senate. GOP has 9. Remember this day next year. We have to fight.

Following the change to the upper chamber’s rules, the Senate will vote to confirm Gorsuch at some point on Friday — and there’s nothing Democrats can do to stop it now.
Just look at this liberal millennials. They do not want to accept the simple truth that this one judge is INCOMERABLE with the 8 others who are obviously controlled by the DEEP STATE!
