Trey Gowdy recently said of James Comey’s FBI, “That is not the FBI that I used to work with. I’ve been really careful not to criticize you … I just disagree with you. But it’s really important to me that the FBI be respected.”
As a former special prosecutor, Gowdy cares about the state of the FBI and its integrity, and wants to right the ship. He has teamed up with Congressman Jason Chaffetz in a two-pronged attack to hold Comey accountable.
They had a major announcement recently about the future of the investigation into Hillary’s email crimes and Comey’s cover-up. Said Chaffetz, “Undoubtedly there will be, based on the documents the FBI released today there are new facts that need to be investigated.”
I’m very concerned about the quid pro quo that was in negotiation between the State Department and the FBI. Chairman Nunes and I believe Patrick Kennedy should be relieved of his duties immediately pending an investigation. This is a manipulation if not an outright crime and so we’re gonna drive into that.”
He concluded, “Chairman Nunes and I believe Patrick Kennedy should be relieved of his duties immediately pending an investigation. I want to get to the truth, and I want people to be held accountable I don’t think that’s asking too much.” Do you support Gowdy and Chaffetz?
