CNN In Huge Trouble After Being Caught Editing Trump’s Words To Change What He Said

CNN went way too far by editing Donald Trump’s words to make it appear like he said something that he didn’t really say.

CNN released an article with the following headline “Donald Trump, skeptical of mail-in balloting, encourages voting more than once if necessary”.

The article quotes him saying “If you go to university center, they’ll give you a new ballot, they’ll void your old ballot, in some places they do that four or five times, so by tomorrow, almost everyone will have their new ballots in.”

However this is what he really said, “If you go to university center, they’ll give you a new ballot, they’ll void your old ballot. They’ll give you a new ballot, and you can go out and make sure it get’s in. Now in some places, they do that four or five times, but we don’t do that. So by tomorrow, almost everyone will have their new ballots in.”

After people angrily pointed this out to CNN they changed the headline to better reflect what he really said. They changed it to “Trump stokes skepticism of Colorado voting system”. He was not encouraging people to vote more than once, like the quote claimed. Instead he was telling people to make sure their vote goes where it is supposed to go.
