Following the most horrific massacre in U.S. history which took place this Sunday in Las Vegas during a country music concert and unexpectedly took the lives of more than 50 people, leaving several hundreds wounded, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania immediately scheduled a trip to Vegas.
They met with the families of the victims and the wounded, as well as the ground zero responders consisted of officers and doctors which were on the site, risking their lives to help the people.
Upon arriving in Vegas and meeting with the doctors and the mass-shooting survivors, and seeing the way they have been treating the wounded, the commander-in-chief stated that the sight made him feel “proud to be an American.”
But as if that was not enough to show them respect and how much he cared, he also revealed that he had invited many of them to visit him at the White house, saying,“I just met some of the most amazing people,” adding “We met patients that were absolutely terribly wounded,” and at last, “I invited a lot of them over to the White House.”
‘I said, “If you are ever in Washington, come on over to the Oval Office.” And they’re all saying, “We want to do it! How do we do it?”‘ At last, his concluding sentence was the one which earned him the respect of patriots, saying, ‘And believe me, I’ll be there for them.’
And while it is unfortunate that we must witness Trump’s care and dedication for his people in such unfortunate times, he has without a doubt, proven to be one of the most caring leaders who is willing to personally meet and thank the people who risked their lives to protect and save others, as well as lift the spirits those wounded by landing on ground zero, in both Vegas, and Puerto Rico.
