Here’s What Hillary Said After She Emerged For First Time Since Losing Election

Wow! BIG NEWS! Hillary Clinton finally appears in front of the nation after she lost the elections. The Democrat’s nominee decided to speak and she talked about what is she going to do next. In this post there is the video from the speech. After you see this, you are going to notice something very, very weird. More about this big event below:

Going into the presidential election last week, Hillary Clinton thought there was no chance Donald Trump would beat her. That’s why she was particularly devastated when she lost to him, and her misery was apparent when she spoke publicly for the first time since her loss at the Children’s Defense Fund gala in Washington D.C.

Daily Mail reported that Clinton appeared onstage looking extremely weary as she said she considered canceling the commitment, but kept it out of respect to her mentor.

“I will admit coming here tonight wasn’t the easiest thing for me,” Clinton said in her speech. “There have been a few times this past week when all I wanted to do is just to curl up with a good book or our dogs and never leave the house again.”

Clinton entered and left the event through a private entrance, not sticking around to talk to her traveling press corps, who had been invited to cover the event by her campaign staff. Many of her staffers were with her at the gala last night.

“Service is the rent we pay for living,” Clinton said, quoting the organization’s founder, Marian Wright Edelman. “You don’t get to stop paying rent just because things don’t go your way.”

Clinton said she drew inspiration from Edelman, her mentor whom she interned for during law school, while preparing her speech.

“If there’s anyone who knows how to pick yourself up, and get back on your feet and get to work, it is Marian,” Clinton said. “She has been doing it all of her life, and she has been helping the rest of us do it, too.”

Clinton then let the audience know how tough this loss has been for her.

“I know many of you are deeply disappointed about the results of the election. I am too, more than I can ever express,” she said. “Our campaign was never about one person or even one election – it was about the country that we love and about building an America that is hopeful inclusive and big-hearted.”

WOW! She looks so old and sad… At least she accepted her defeat. Now we can only hope that the violent protests will end. We all love America, so now we must do everything in our power to make her great again!
