Sad news…One of the biggest country music legends just died. The famous Goodtime Hour, the Gentle on My Mind and thousands of others huge hits and legendary shows will always make us remember the great Glen Travis Campbell.
The king of the country music in the 60s and the 70s died at age of 81. Richstone Cowboy Campbell lost his battle with his Alzheimer’s disease. He fought for so many years, but in the end, he was not able to win this battle. His family shared the official statement:
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather.”– says the statement.
He was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s back in 2011. Since then, Glen Campbell totally disappeared from the country music scene.
