Mike Pence has just had a very big scare involving his life and an assassination attempt made against him. Our leaders receive these kinds of threats every single day but very rarely do we see something this significant. A National Guardsman just threatened to kill Vice President Mike Pence if he was paid enough money. This is a very scary situation.
We are lucky to have Secret Service members working to ensure that our leaders are safe. That is what happened here when they caught William Robert Dunbar admitting that he would kill the vice president for money. Who knows what was going through his mind at the time, but there is no excuse for this kind of behavior.
The 22-year-old National Guardsman from New Jersey, was arrested while on duty for saying to people, “If someone pays me enough money, I will kill the vice president.” He was ready to do it, but wanted something as payment. But he was eventually reported by people around him and arrested in lieu of a $250,000 bail.
Now it is important to keep in mind that each and every day there are several threats against the president and vice president’s life. Though only a few of them are taken seriously. This threat was real enough for them to take action. And it is about time. Who knows what would have happened had the Secret Service not stepped in and taken action of their own.

Mike Pence is lucky enough to be alive as it is, he does not need any more threats thrown his way. It was only yesterday that Pence admitted he could have been killed during the attacks on 9/11. Flight 93 was supposed to fly into the United States Capitol Building. Fortunately, there were passengers that stopped this attack.
Pence talked about this yesterday during the service. He got teary eyed a bit while talking about the people that lost their lives. The entire situation is terrifying to put it nicely. There are problems with how this country operates and we need to see some changes.
Are you glad to see the Secret Service catch this man in time?
