The worst thing that can happen to a career politician is to tell him/her that his/her ambitions and agendas are not going to be accomplished. That really hurts. You know why? Because that’s all a career politician wants. The career politician doesn’t care about the common people, they see us all as a tool to reach their goals.
Look how Chuck Schummer ‘was loosing it’ after Mitch McConnell made some ‘bad’ predictions about his future:
Chuck Schumer wants to do everything he can to prevent Neil Gorsuch from being nominated. “It looks like Gorsuch will not reach the 60 vote margin, so instead of changing the rules, which is up to Mitch McConnell and Republican majority, why doesn’t President Trump, Democrats and Republicans in Senate, sit down and try to come up with a mainstream nominee?” said Schumer.
Wishful thinking on his part. “Look, when a nominee doesn’t get 60 votes, you shouldn’t change the rules, you should change the nominee. Lets just look at the history, our nominee was Merrick Garland. Mitch McConnell broke 230 of precedent and didn’t call him [Garland] up for a vote,” Schumer said.
“We have the votes to prevent Gorsuch from getting on. Now that doesn’t mean you have to change the rules. Each side did not get their nominee. lets sit down and come together,” Schumer said. However, McConnell gave Schumer some news that will break his heart.
“We’re going to confirm Judge Gorsuch this week. The way in which that occurs is in the hands of the Democratic minority,” said McConnell on Fox. He also went on NBC’s Meet the Press and told Chuck Todd that “Neil Gorsuch will be confirmed this week.” Sorry Chuck Schumer.
McConnell also respond why the Democratic nominee Garland wasn’t confirmed. “That’s an absurd question. We were right in the middle of a presidential election year. Every body knew that either side — had the shoe been on the other foot — wouldn’t have filled it. But that has nothing to do with what we’re voting on this year,” said McConnell.
This person, Chuck Schummer, is a pure example of a career politician. As you can see this kind of people share negativity and frustration. This should be a lesson not to trust these liberals in the House and the Senate!
