With the chance that has appeared to bring down a nominee he has labeled “manifestly unfit,” Sen. Ted Cruz is helping Trump in his campaign to push his campaign to the zenith, and we’ve expected nothing less from him.
“If Clinton wins, we know — with 100 percent certainty — that she would deliver on her left-wing promises, with devastating results for our country,” Cruz said last month in a Facebook post in which he called Democrat Hillary Clinton “manifestly unfit to be president.”
Cruz, who waged a larger-than-life battle with Trump in the Republican primaries, will join Republican vice presidential candidate Gov. Mike Pence of Indiana at events in Iowa and Michigan, Pence spokesman Marc Lotter said.
Cruz initially refused to support Trump after a bitter campaign, but he endorsed Trump in late September. The senator stood by Trump when comments from the real estate mogul’s past caused others to bolt, but he has not until now campaigned with the Trump team.
” … by any measure, Hillary Clinton would be an absolute disaster as president,” Cruz has said.
When Cruz endorsed Trump, he noted several policy areas where Clinton fails America.
“We are only one justice away from losing our most basic rights, and the next president will appoint as many as four new justices. We know, without a doubt, that every Clinton appointee would be a left-wing ideologue,” he said.
Cruz noted that Clinton supports Obamacare while Trump would support its repeal.
“Clinton would continue the Obama administration’s war on coal and relentless efforts to crush the oil and gas industry,” the senator said.
Cruz noted that on immigration, “Clinton would continue and even expand President Obama’s lawless executive amnesty.”
Further, Cruz said a Clinton presidency would imperil national security.

“Clinton would continue the Obama administration’s willful blindness to radical Islamic terrorism. She would continue importing Middle Eastern refugees whom the FBI cannot vet to make sure they are not terrorists,” he wrote.
