TRAGIC! Teen Disappeared During Spring Break Trip in 2009, 7 years Later Cops Tell Parents Horrifying Truth. Details…

The truth always come out. Eventually, the truth about the Brittanee Drexel was announced.

The girl, 17-year-old at the time, disappeared in South Carolina in 2009. She, together with her friends, went to Myrtle Beach for spring break. Her parents were against her going to spring break and probably were right. She slipped away from their home in upstate New York and never came back.

Her disappearance was the beginning of the suffering of her parents Chad and Dawn Drexel. On Tuesday, after seven long years, they were finally told that Brittanne had been killed and probably held against her will.

Dawn Drexel spoke Wednesday at a news conference announcing her death. “After seven long years of waiting and praying for the return of my daughter, we know she isn’t coming home alive,” she said. “Brittanee’s life was stolen from her in a brutal and senseless fashion.”

David Thomas, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Columbia, South Carolina, field office, said during the press conference that authorities have known Drexel was dead “for some time, but in the interest of trying to protect the parents and still maintain hope that we could bring her back alive, we’ve kept that information. … We all came to the conclusion collectively that, regardless of how difficult it is for the family, we met with the family yesterday to brief them, it is very difficult, but the public needs to know, the family needs to know.”

Authorities believe Drexel was taken from Myrtle Beach and held captive in McClellanville, South Carolina, for days. They appealed to the public for information to solve the mystery and bring the perpetrators to justice. FBI officials say they are certain that someone in the McClellanville area knows about Drexel’s time there.

Chad Drexel posted a plea on Facebook urging the public to help in any way they can to “bring our daughters remains back home to us.”

His wife also pleaded with the public to “bring her killers to justice.”

“We know she isn’t coming home alive,” Dawn Drexel said. “We need your help to find Brittanee’s remains and bring her home to rest.”

The FBI is offering a $25,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest and conviction.

The killer should be brought to justice. What do you think?
