WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on Tuesday night tore apart Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s contention that she did not know how to tell whether documents she read on her private email server were classified or not.

“When asked what the parenthetical ‘C’ meant before a paragraph within the captioned email, she stated she did not know and could only speculate it was referencing paragraphs marked in alphabetical order,” read the FBI‘s documents on its investigation of Clinton’s use of a private server while she was secretary of state.

During an interview on Fox News’ Hannity, Assange ridiculed Clinton’s claims.

“Hillary Clinton has said she can’t remember what a ‘C’ in brackets stands for,” he said. “Everyone in positions of government and in WikiLeaks knows it stands for classified, confidential.”

Assange said the evidence that Clinton did not tell the truth is in emails that WikiLeaks has already released.

“We have thousands of examples where she herself has used the ‘C’ in brackets and signed it off,” he continued, “and more than 22,000 examples where she has received cables from others with this ‘C’ in brackets.”

At one point, Assange help up a piece of paper for host Sean Hannity to view.

“By Hillary Clinton, here she is. See, that is her signature. With a ‘C’ in bracket right there,” he said.

Assange said he was not sure which was worse, that Clinton was dodging the truth or that she was getting away with it.

“It’s absolutely incredible for Clinton to lie, she is lying, about not knowing what that is, but it’s disturbing that [FBI Director] James Comey goes along with that game,” he said.

WikiLeaks has promised to release leaked emails between Clinton and the Democratic National Committee that would impact the election.

“The first batch is coming reasonably soon,” Assange said Tuesday night. “We’re quite confident about it now. We might put out some teasers as early as next week or the week after.”

Assange did not provide any details of what would be released.
