Shaquille O’Neal appeared on Fox and Friends and taught Kaepernick a valuable lesson. When asked about Kaepernick’s refusal to stand for the flag he answered that it was something he would never do.
“I don’t really have a say on it but I would never do that. My father was a military man and he protected this country — uncles are in law enforcement, they go out and work hard every day. Just, you know, there are other ways to get your point across,” said Shaq.
“How come you didn’t decide to do this last year or the year before that or the year before that? I’m aware of all the issues, but my question is how come he didn’t do it last year or how come you didn’t do it when you first entered the NFL?” asked Shaq. A very good point.
He went on to talk about how Muhammed Ali and Bill Russell protested one thing their whole career as soon as they entered the scene. Why did he wait so long? Check out the video below.
