Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump visited Michigan last week, and while the liberal media slammed him all around for the trip, something Trump did as he was preparing to leave has conveniently been ignored by that same mainstream media.
Almost everyone has seen the clip of a pastor admonishing Trump to not be political in his speech at a black church, but almost nobody saw what happened later after that.
When he arrived at the airport to board his ready and waiting Trump Force One, rather than immediately mount the steps to enter his plane, he instead walked right past them, refusing to leave just yet.
Donald Trump has repeatedly referred to himself as the “law and order” candidate in this 2016 presidential race, and has just as often expressed his deep appreciation for the hard work and dangerous risks many police officers deal with on a daily basis.
Taking the time to personally greet and thank the officers who protected his caravan and plane during his trip to Michigan is just the latest example of how Trump stands with the law enforcement officers who, in turn, stand between law-abiding citizens and the criminal element in society.
It is presidential moves like this that the largest police union in the nation recently issued its formal endorsement of Trump as its preference to be the next president of the United States.
